The current collective agreement for BCGEU members working in the Health Science Professionals sector expired March 31, 2025. Negotiations for a new collective agreement with the Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC) began on March 6, 2025.

Improvements to wages to keep up with the cost of living as well as benefits and pensions will be the top bargaining issues BCGEU members will bring to the table with the other unions of the Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA).
