Health science professionals complete second week of bargaining

The Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA) completed a second week of bargaining last week with the Health Employers' Association of BC (HEABC) to negotiate a new collective agreement for their 18,000 members.

The parties are currently working through issues such as addressing shortages and promoting stability and continuity in the healthcare workforce. The constituent unions are also working collaboratively in these negotiations.

Bargaining is scheduled to continue for the next two weeks in Vancouver. The BCGEU represents approximately 2,100 health science professionals in various disciplines across the province.
