Delegates to the HSP Bargaining Conference held in April prioritized the bargaining surveys submitted by HSP members. Since then, the Bargaining Committee met to review all of the conference notes and put together the BCGEU HSP list of bargaining priorities sent to the HSA (lead Union).

On July 17th-18th, we were invited to take part in a two-day HSA Bargaining Committee training session, and all of the unions will meet in August for an additional two days to work on the proposal package. Bargaining dates have been set for September 10th-28th in Vancouver.

We are pleased with the cooperative spirit displayed by the Unions to date, and we will send updates when appropriate.
