Island Crisis Care Society strike registration scheduled

Your Employer remains unwilling to address your identified top priority issue, therefore the strike mandate will be actioned in the near future.

An all-day drop in strike registration has been scheduled as follows:

  • Date: Friday, February 5, 2016
  • Time: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Location: BCGEU Nanaimo Area Office, 106-1650 N. Terminal Avenue, Nanaimo

In order to be scheduled for picket duty and to be eligible for strike pay, all members must register. Casual and part-time members should bring 3 – 4 of your most recent pay stubs. The Union may not have accurate home email or home mailing addresses so please share this information with your co-workers.

More detailed information around the planned job action will be provided at the registration.

Only members who have a signed membership application on file with the Union and have registered for strike action will be scheduled for picket duty and eligible for strike pay. If you have not signed a membership application you can do so at the registration.

In solidarity
