Island Crisis Care Society - Tentative Agreement Reached

Date:              March 10th, 2016

To:                 All BCGEU Members at Island Crisis Care Society

Re:                 Tentative Agreement Reached

Your bargaining committee is pleased to advise you that a tentative renewal collective agreement has been reached with the Employer.  While they will not be attached to the collective agreement, the agreement includes revised schedules that remove short changeovers, and ensure that members do not have to work more than two different shifts in a week.

Attached is a document containing all of the proposed changes to the collective agreement.  Please review it carefully. Click here for link

A ratification meeting will be scheduled over the next few weeks to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the changes, and to vote on them.  A notice will be sent out to all members advising of the date, time and location of the meeting(s).

If you have recently moved, or changed your email address please take the time to update your contact information on-line at: http://www.bcgeu.ca/change-address

Please share this with your co-workers as the Union may not have everyone’s mail and/or email address.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Miriam Moore and Lorie Harvey for all their work on your behalf.

In solidarity,

Deb Wilson, Staff Representative, Negotiations

Miriam Moore, Bargaining Committee Member
