Ballots for the tentative agreement were counted this morning, May 4th, 2018. 92% voted in favour of acceptance of the tentative agreement. Therefore, the agreement has been ratified.

The Bargaining Committee now begins the process of creating/proofing a draft agreement, once completed and signed off by the parties, copies of the new collective agreement will be sent out to each member.

The agreement is now in effect. Your new wage rates will take effect on May 13th and you can expect the lump sum payment on your June 1st paycheque.
