Local 2003 Chair Worksite Visits

Re:      Local 2003 Chair Worksite Visits in Squamish, Coquitlam and New Westminster

 

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I am pleased to advise that BCGEU Local 2003 Chairperson Jackie Pierre will be conducting worksite visits on October 13 in Coquitlam and New Westminster.

Sister Pierre will be visiting the following worksites. BCGEU Administrative Services Local 1203 Chairperson Matt Damario will be joining the worksite visits on October 13.

 

Thursday October 13

Morning

  • Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure - 10 - 1500 Woolridge Street, Coquitlam;
  • Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure - 1420 - 2900 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam;

Afternoon

  • Product Services Purchasing 2370 United Blvd, Coquitlam;
  • Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Highways Office - 200-1065 Columbia street, New Westminster.

Sister Pierre wants to introduce herself, meet with members and discuss any issues you may have. Sister Pierre works as a Client Service Representative for the BC Safety Authority in New Westminster.

BCGEU Local 2003 includes government employees engaged in engineering support and inspectional duties at the technical level, as well as workers charged with protecting and regulating natural resources or ensuring the quality of the environment in the geographic area comprising the Lower Mainland and the Sea to Sky corridor.

Employers in BCGEU Local 2003 include government (Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure), the BC Safety Authority, and the Western Canada Wilderness Committee.

For your information, the next BCGEU Local 2003 membership meeting will take place on November 17, 2016 in the BCGEU Lower Mainland Office in Vancouver. A separate notice will be issued shortly.
