BCGEU Vice President To Meet with Inclusion Parksville Members

In March, BCGEU President Stephanie Smith and Vice President Andrea Duncan visited several worksites where BCGEU members provide community social services. Unfortunately, they were not able to visit every worksite. At some worksite visits members reported significant difficulties as workers while at other worksites members’ comments addressed more diverse issues.

Sister Duncan along with Local Chairperson Cherie Dobbie will be making a special trip to meet with members employed at Inclusion Parksville on Tuesday July 26th. To make the meeting most convenient to members it will be held right after work at 4:00 p.m. at the Parksville Community Centre at 132 Jensen Avenue E, Parksville.

Members are encouraged to attend this meeting to meet these senior elected officers of the Union.

Bring your concerns to share with Sisters Duncan and Dobbie as well as any general comments you may have about working with Inclusion Parksville, the Union or other issues important to working people.
