When:   Monday, January 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm

Your bargaining committee is pleased to say that we have reached a tentative agreement with the Employer. This agreement includes:

  • Wage increases of 2%, 1.5% and 1.5% over 3 years
  • A signing bonus of $400 (pro-rated for part-time regulars)
  • Increase in Professional Development entitlement to $150 per year
  • Increase in the Child in Day Care Allowance to $150 per year
  • Fitness Allowance changed to Wellness Allowance to allow for expansion of entitlement
  • Early closure at Christmas and New Year with no loss of pay
  • Increase in mileage rate

We will be holding a ratification meeting to walk you through the changes to the agreement. This meeting will also be your opportunity to vote to ratify the agreement.

Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of this tentative agreement.

Please make every effort to attend in order to ask questions and vote on the collective agreement.
