This page represents approximately 300 BCGEU members in Social, Information, and Health. Our members are Social Workers, Social Work Assistants, Navigators, CLBC Facilitators, Employment Assistance Workers, Youth Probation Officers, Youth Custody Center staff, Information Technology workers, Indigenous Reconciliation staff, and more.
Our Area stretches from Prince George to Mackenzie and from Fraser Lake to McBride and Valemount.
We help people.
We serve our communities.
We are public servants.
We are a union that stands for social justice.
In addition to our jobs serving the citizens of British Columbia, we also serve the membership with Stewarding, OHS Representation, and a variety of educational events.
As your Union Executive and as Stewards, we also participate in community events such as Labour Day, Remembrance Day ceremonies, Pride, Take Back the Night, and Canada Day.
