 AGENDA

  • Nominations and Elections of Convention Delegate(s) and Alternate Delegates  to the 50th BCGEU Triennial Constitutional Convention being held Wednesday, June 14 - Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 655 Burrard Street, Vancouver. Convention is the time when you, the members, decide the mandate of YOUR union over the next three years.
  • Local 0612 is entitled to send one (1) delegates with the Local Chair attending by right of office, therefore, two (2) alternate positions are available.
    • Nominations will close at this meeting, therefore, all nomination forms must be received at the Terrace Area Office by close of Thursday, March 2, 2017.
  • Elections will take place at this meeting, if necessary.
  • Alternate entitlement will be ballots cast
  • You must be in attendance in order to accept your nomination.
  • Nomination forms are attached, (copy if required).

Call for resolutions for the BCGEU Convention

Resolutions are put forward by members for members. In order for your union leadership to carry out the work on behalf of the membership it is your responsibility to put forward your ideas. Please take the time to review the Constitution and consider the direction your union should be heading and provide your input.
