Over 400 BCGEU members at Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam have been on strike since May 11 – three whole weeks! - fighting for fair wages, benefits and respect at work. 

After months of negotiations, their employer has failed accept reasonable proposals made by workers that include better wages, benefits, dependable work hours and respect. Many Hard Rock workers haven't received a wage increase in over 10 years and are working 2-3 jobs as they struggle to get by. Meanwhile, Great Canadian Gaming, the company who owns Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, recently reported massive gains in revenue – a 62% increase in this quarter over the same quarter last year!

Tell Hard Rock that casino workers deserve a fair contract now!
