A bargaining committee is required for the next round of Bargaining. Nominations are now open for three (3) positions on the Bargaining Committee: Bargaining Committee Chairperson, plus two (2) bargaining committee members. An Alternate to the Bargaining Committee will also be elected from this nomination process. A member may be nominated for either position or for both positions. If elected as Chairperson, the member will not be included in the election for committee member.
The Bargaining Committee Chairperson and Bargaining Committee Members' duties include: attending face to face meetings with the Union Bargaining Committee and the Employer; communicating with bargaining unit members regarding collective bargaining and other bargaining related issues; performing research; participating in conference calls; attending meetings of the bargaining unit regarding bargaining; acting as deputy returning officer during votes; and other duties as they relate to the collective bargaining process.
Please complete the attached nomination form to indicate your willingness to be elected to a position on the bargaining committee.

- Nominations will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018.
