MEMBERS PROVIDE 99% STRIKE MANDATE
We are pleased to advise you that the members at Well Being Seniors' Services Ltd. (RHSV) provided the bargaining committee with an exceptionally strong strike mandate with a 99% vote in favour of taking strike action if necessary!
We have advised the Employer of the result of the vote, and will continue to update you as information becomes available.
The Employer has applied for mediation and your bargaining committee has agreed to meet on November 14th and 28th to try to reach an agreement with the assistance of a mediator appointed by the Labour Relations Board.
In the event that we must action the mandate there are a number of steps that will need to be taken prior to any job action being implemented. You will receive detailed information on how a strike works, and what to expect before we take any action.
