We understand that the presence of temporary workers at VDC has been the cause of serious concern for some members. 

Due to a significant backlog of work at VDC, the Employer has hired workers for limited employment as per the Article 36 of the Collective Agreement.

These workers cannot be employed for greater than 30 days. 

A meeting will be held with the Employer on Thursday, November 8th and the Union will bring your concerns forward. The meeting will be attended by Kusam Doal and Paul Brown along with the Staff Representative responsible for Component 5.
