We are pleased to announce that the majority of the members have voted in favour of the new collective agreement.   Therefore, the agreement is now considered ratified.  The provisions will not take effect until September 1, 2023. However, the suspension of the auxiliary training wage will be in effect immediately.

With this ratification, we anticipate the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be releasing the RFP for the area which will reflect the changes in the collective agreement.  We have been assured that labour successorship will be included in the RFP.

While your existing collective agreement remains in place and in full force, we will work on having copies of the new collective agreement available.
