Your bargaining committee is very pleased that we have reached a tentative agreement.
The highlights of the deal are:
- Job security
- General wage increase
- Posting and selection language
- Hours of work language
- Grievance procedure
- Formalized committees in place to deal with ongoing workplace issues.
The tone of negotiations was positive. Your bargaining committee recommends acceptance of the collective agreement.
Important meetings and voting shall take place at your workplace:
- Thursday, January 21, 2016 – Noon to 3:30pm; and
- Friday, January 22, 2016 – 10:30 to Noon.
It is critical that you come out to vote.
