I tapped into the BCGEU as a resource when I was looking for someone that could answer the questions I have about my worksite and advocate for my rights as a worker. Fast forward to now, I am involved in the union because I meet others that enter the workforce who are as curious about labour relations as I was years ago. I am thankful for the training I have received through the union which helped solidify my understanding of the labour movement and its relevance in our day-to-day lives. I have lived in Prince Rupert and Prince George since moving to the North from the Lower Mainland in 2013.
