Happy Autumn everyone!

While summer availability meant that bargaining was on hiatus over August and September, your bargaining team has remained busy and steadfast in representing you throughout.

This summer we took a tour of all the regional offices to solicit input, answer questions, and get to know our members face to face. We had a really good turnout at all of the offices and were encouraged by the insightful input that was provided! 

We are now back at the bargaining table and wrapping up the non-monetary pieces. We envision being able to table our monetary package in the near future. 

We have heard concerns about wages from all areas of our membership. While we acknowledge that we are operating under a two per cent per year provincial mandate, we are putting our energy into taking advantage of the various opportunities both within and outside of it.

We have been at the bargaining table regularly in October and have a series of meetings scheduled in the first half of November. We hope to have more to share with you soon!

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any reason. Many of our approaches and proposals have come directly from our members.
