The Parties continue to meet to negotiate the monetary portion of your Collective Agreement. As a wage increase was identified as your number one priority for this round, we will not be accepting anything less.
We will be meeting again with the employer on Thursday, August 23, 2018, which we hope will result in an offer for the membership to vote on.
A membership meeting is scheduled as follows:
When: Monday, August 27, 2018
Where: Sunshine Valley Child Care Society, 978 72nd Avenue, Grand Forks
Time: 5:30 pm

After the parties meet on Thursday, we will know if there is an offer of a wage increase on the table. If not, we will discuss moving forward with strike action and answer all of your questions at that time.
