Thanks to those members who participated in the conference calls last week. The bargaining committee met again on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 to finalize our priorities for bargaining.

Top of mind for members is the eventual closure of the Detox program. The committee has taken into consideration possible options to support members through this and will raise this for discussion with the Employer in bargaining. We also know that the other priority for members is wage increases. In addition to these two main priorities for members, there are a number of other items that have been raised with the bargaining committee that will also be included in our proposal package.

We are currently waiting for confirmation on bargaining dates with the Employer in October. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
