When: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 12:00 – 1:30 pm
Where Native Education College – Room 210
BCGEU members at Native Education College are invited to a Union worksite meeting during the lunch hour on Tuesday, June 19.
During the meeting, the Union will provide an update on bargaining with your Employer.
We also want to remind BCGEU members at NEC of their rights under the collective agreement, including the right to representation and the right to file a grievance. The Union is also seeking workplace leaders to act as union stewards.
BCGEU Local 703 Chair Amber Keane will be attending. Amber is your elected representative within the Union and represents members in the BCGEU's Education, Scientific, Technical & Administration component in this geographic area. She wishes to engage in an open, more general conversation about challenges and concerns in your workplace.
Your union representatives will be available to answer any questions you may have about your rights at work, your contract, etc.
Free pizza will be available for attendees who confirm, as well as some BCGEU swag.
Everyone welcome! Please RSVP to confirm your pizza – and your attendance – with your bargaining unit chair, Sue Arnault – [email protected].
In solidarity,
Oliver Rohlfs Angela Mahlmann
