The union learned on Thursday that the information we received during bargaining about how health and welfare benefit premiums are paid may not have been correct. As a result, the Union, along with your Bargaining Committee, needs to do some further follow up with your employer to ensure that we have accurate information about the way your benefit premiums are paid.

Because we are not convinced that we have accurate information, and may not have shared correct information with you at the recent ratification meetings, we are not proceeding with the ratification vote at this time.

As soon as we are confident that we have all of the information related to the payment of your health and welfare benefit premiums, we will hold new meetings and will conduct the vote at that time.

We apologize for the delay. However, the Union wants to ensure that you have the correct information prior to voting on your tentative agreement.
