As we begin preparations for bargaining, we must create a three-person Bargaining committee. The committee will have a Chairperson, which the membership nominates prior to electing the remaining two positions.

Nominations for Bargaining Committee Chairperson will remain open until September 14th. Following the nomination deadline, an election will take place for the Chairperson, if we receive more than one nomination for the position. 

The Bargaining Committee Chairperson participates in bargaining, and is the liaison between the union negotiator and the bargaining committee on issues leading up to negotiations, as well as performing regular bargaining committee work.

The same process for electing the remaining two bargaining committee member positions will occur after the Chairperson is elected.

Nominations for Chairperson are now open and will close on September 14th, 2018 at 5:00 pm.

All nominations must be received by 5:00 pm. Nominations are to be returned via facsimile 604- 294- 5092, emailed to [email protected], or mailed to the office.
