The Local Chairperson has authorized the opening of nominations for all BCGEU members in good standing at Raincity Housing for one (1) steward position for ‘Vancouver’ and one (1) steward position for ‘East’ who would act as steward for Raincity operations in the tri-cities and east. Those elected or acclaimed will serve out the remainder of the three year term as outlined in the Union’s constitution and will cease in the Fall of 2017.
 
Nominations are open effective 9:00am April 25, 2016 and close April 29, 2016 at 4:00pm. 
 
In the event the Union receives in excess of two nominations, elections will occur as determined by the Local Chair in accordance with the Union’s constitution, bylaws, and policies.
 
Interested members must complete the attached nomination form and return it to the Lower Mainland Area Office (LMAO). All nomination forms must be received by the LMAO by 4:00 pm on April 29, 2016.
