Members of Component 1 are invited to come out to the Surrey Pretrial Services Centre in support of the continued efforts of your component in the fight for safer working conditions in B.C.'s prisons.

Violence towards Correctional Officers has been on the increase every year for the past 5 years and we cannot let it continue.

We want to show our solidarity with the members who are subjected to this increase in violence and the effect it has in the lives of our members.

Come show your solidarity!

We will have food and refreshments for members, and will be giving out our new pins for members to wear to show their solidarity with members who have been affected and those that continue to be affected.
