B.C.'S UNION SINCE 1919

Rally Against Prison Violence – Show your support - BCGEU

When: Thursday, November 14, 2019

Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Where:
Alouette Correctional Centre for Women: 24800 Alouette Rd, Maple Ridge

Members of Component 1 are invited to come out to the Alouette Correctional Centre for Women
in support of the continued efforts of your component in the fight for safer working conditions in B.C.'s prisons.
Violence towards correctional officers has been on the rise every year for the past five years and we cannot let it continue.

We want to show our solidarity with the members who are subjected to this increase in violence and the effect it has on the lives of our members.

Come show your solidarity!

We will have food and refreshments for members, and will be giving out our new pins for members to wear to show their solidarity with members who have been affected and those that continue to be affected.
