This notice revises the previous notice of bargaining committee nominations posted on May 30, 2019.

Pursuant to its bylaws, the Component 7 Executive authorized the bargaining committee to elect the chairperson from among its members. The fact that the Component provided this authorization was missed, and that is why we are issuing this revision and cancelling nominations for the position of Bargaining Committee Chair. This will have no effect on nominations for Bargaining Committee Members. 

Nominations remain open until 5:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2019 for bargaining committee members. 
The bargaining committee has three positions, as follow:

• One Bargaining Committee Member – Burnaby office
• One Bargaining Committee Member – Kamloops office
• One Bargaining Committee Member – Victoria office

If there is more than one nominee for a position, the bargaining committee member for that office will be elected by a ballot of the staff of that office. The bargaining committee will subsequently elect the chairperson from among its members.

The nomination form for bargaining committee members is reattached. Any member who previously submitted a nomination form only for the position of chair and who still wishes to seek election must complete and submit a nomination form for the position of Bargaining Committee Member.

Each nominee may submit one page of biographical information, endorsements, or other campaign information (8 ½" x 11" sheet, single-sided, black and white) for distribution with ballots. This must be received no later than one business day after close of nominations and will be sent out as submitted.
