Your bargaining committee spent most of last week, including Saturday, at Labour Board mediation with your Employer. It was a very intense week, with both parties working late into the night trying to find common ground and make some movement.

Both sides are now reviewing recommendations that have been sent out by the mediator. Before we can move on anything, these recommendations have to be considered. This may take a few days. Hopefully by weeks end, we will be able to update you with more detailed information.

This has been a long, sometimes exhausting process, and your committee sincerely appreciates all of your patience and support. We are close, and we will get there!
