Mask usage in BCGEU buildings (Updated Apr 27, 2023) :

Effective immediately, we are making a change to our building protocols regarding mask usage in our buildings.

Mask use is now optional in our buildings, including in common areas and meeting rooms.
Staff and visitors to BCGEU buildings may, of course, continue to use masks and other layers of protection based on their own comfort and risk factors. We ask that we respect others and wear masks if requested in groups.

Please be reminded that no one should attend BCGEU buildings if they have active cold or flu-like symptoms.

I am pleased to advise you that the following members will make up the bargaining committee who will represent you through the upcoming negotiations with the Employer:

Trevor Corbett – Bargaining Committee Chairperson
Oliva Rolando – Bargaining Committee Member
Deanna Pulak – Bargaining Committee Member
Lea Salov – Bargaining Committee Member

The next step is for the Committee to review and develop proposals prior to meeting with the Employer. One way proposals are developed is via the bargaining questionnaire. Please complete and return the attached questionnaire so we know what your priorities are for this round of bargaining.

We will keep you updated as developments arise. Please feel free to direct any comments or questions to any member of your Bargaining Committee.
