STRIKE VOTE MEETING

At the end of our negotiations on March 12th, after the parties had agreed to virtually all non-monetary items, we scheduled on more day of bargaining for May 7, 2018. The employer cancelled this meeting a few days before, stating they needed more time to do their financial calculations. 

When we finally met on June 8, 2018, The employer came to the table and offered no wage increase at all for 2016, 2017 & 2018.

As wages are your number one priority this round, your bargaining committee could not accept this and therefore we are at an impasse. Our only option now is to take a strike vote.

It's time to send a strong message to your employer that the hard-working members at SVCCS deserve a fair deal, so we will be holding a strike vote meeting, as follows:

Your bargaining committee will be on hand to provide further details at the meeting. Please make every effort to participate in this crucial vote.
