Bargaining with the employer continued last week on May 22^nd and May 24^th. Progress has been made; however, significant monetary items remain outstanding. At the moment, we don't have a settlement we can recommend to you. Your bargaining committee is committed to finding a fair settlement while protecting existing rights in the collective agreement. We hope the employer will bring sharper focus to the next bargaining dates and work on addressing the union's wage and benefit proposals.

If you have any questions, please speak with your union bargaining committee member to ensure you hear the facts, and, remember, don't buy into the rumour mill.

Our next meetings are on June 10^th and June 11^th.
