Re:       Tell Us What You Do!! - Job Description Workshop

As a BCGEU member at Hard Rock Casino, you perform important work for both customers and the Employer. Despite this, some of you have said that  you are often asked to perform work that is unrelated to your position and that job your description is out of date.

To best represent you at the bargaining table, your committee needs some up to date information that we can take back to the Employer when bargaining resumes!  For that reason, we are holding two Job Description Workshops, at the location and date/times listed below:

Date/Time: Tuesday March 21st and Thursday March 23rd from 10:00am to 6:00 pm

Location:     The Aspen Room, Executive Plaza Hotel, 405 North Road, Coquitlam B.C

Tables will be set up and divided by work departments at the Casino.  Each table will have copies of departmental job descriptions.  Once you have found your job, all you have to do is review it, advise the committee if it is accurate, or if it needs to be changed

Complimentary food and beverages will be provided, as well as some awesome BCGEU swag!!  If you have children, feel free to bring them as well.  We will ensure that we have juice and cookies for them too!!

We hope to see as many of you as possible at this important workshop!
