With a 100% strike vote in hand, the parties attended an all-day mediation session with the assistance of the Labour Relations Board on June 12th. We are pleased to report that at the end of the day, we were able to reach a tentative renewed collective agreement. Your Bargaining Committee unanimously recommends acceptance of the tentative agreement.
We will be holding a drop-in ratification meeting and vote on Friday, June 16th, when members of your Bargaining Committee will be on hand to provide you with the full details:
