With everyone's attention focused on this week's River Rock Strike Vote, we thought it best to update you on a recent development that has been brought to the Union's attention. There is a lot happening for our members at River Rock these days, so we strongly advise all of you to keep checking in for updates from your Union. 

Trial Shift Selection/Table Games: Your Employer intends to proceed with the trial shift selection for those working in the table games department. We asked them to postpone the shift selection until our labour dispute with the Employer has been resolved. It appears they plan to proceed anyway. If you are scheduled to participate in the shift selection, then it is best that you participate until the Union advises you otherwise. Please be assured that we will be monitoring the Employers actions very closely when and if the trial shift selection process begins.

The Union has a dedicated team of activists, organizers, and other staff dedicated to ensuring that members will come out of this dispute with a first collective agreement that fairly recognizes the very important services you provide. We promise to keep you informed on any new developments.
