Update – Implementation of MOA - prior vacation year upon re-employment

We are happy to report the BC Public Service Agency (PSA) will begin implementing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Recognition of Prior Vacation Year Upon Re-Employment. Our union negotiated this agreement that will see more than 160 BCGEU members credited with additional vacation time. These members will be notified by the PSA in the next few weeks.
In the future the MOA will be applied in all cases where a qualified former regular employee initially re-employed as an auxiliary employee subsequently attains regular status.
