Your Bargaining Committee, along with Staff Representative Chad McQuarrie, are pleased to announce that a tentative deal has been reached for a new Collective Agreement for our members employed at VIRL.
Highlights of the 5 year deal include:
- 2% wage increase for each year of the agreement.
- An increase in the Extended Health Care Plan for coverage not covered by MSP for Professional Health Practitioners from $25 per visit to $50 per visit.
- Improved overtime language.
- Improved job posting language.
Your Bargaining Committee unanimously recommends your endorsement of this tentative agreement.
Full details of the agreement will be provided to members in the coming days. Your committee is currently working on scheduling ratification meetings for the first week of May and when dates are determined, members will be advised.
