Your Bargaining Committee can confirm that the Parties will resume mediated bargaining at the Labour Relations Board offices tomorrow (Thursday, March 21, 2019). We expect to receive the Employer's response to the Union's latest proposal package at that time.
As we stated in the previous bulletin, we know you would prefer a negotiated settlement to a strike. It is now up to the Employer to decide if it will agree to fair wages and benefits so that a strike may be avoided.
You can expect to receive a further bargaining update by no later than Friday, March 22, 2019.
