Where: Special Events Room, George Pearson Centre

All BCGEU members at VCH George Pearson Centre are invited to a union meeting on Monday, November 20, 2017 between 2pm and 4pm.

The meeting will be held at your worksite. Please drop in at the Special Events room between 2pm and 4pm, before or after the start of your work shift or during a scheduled break.

The Union is aware of a number of significant issues at the worksite. This meeting is a real opportunity to bring forward your concerns and questions to the Union.

BCGEU president Stephanie Smith will be in attendance, as will BCGEU provincial executive member Salli Rye, your BCGEU local 403 chairperson Mahen Ramdharry, and myself as your union staff representative.

Please note that the BCGEU is looking for workplace leaders to step forward and become stewards and Occupational Health and Safety representatives at George Pearson Centre.

Stewards are the eyes and ears of the Union in the workplace, and help address workplace issues as they arise. The Union provides training, support and mentorship to stewards.
