Bargaining update for new collective agreement

The union bargaining committee met with the Employer bargaining committee to bargain a new collective agreement on the following dates: May 4, 8, 9, 15 and June 1.

We have been making progress at the bargaining table and are close to reaching a tentative collective agreement. Our next bargaining date is on Tuesday, June 13th.

Once we reach a tentative collective agreement, we will schedule zoom information meetings and set up voting by electronic balloting. Members will need to vote on the tentative agreement before any of the wage increases and other changes kick-in.
