Collective agreement negotiations resumed with your Employer on November 20th. How did the talks go? Not well at all. Not only was the Employer at times disrespectful, they continued to ignore a substantial number of proposals that were presented to them almost a year ago. Your Employer keeps saying they want to get to a deal. If that's the case, it's time for them to start responding!
Your committee would also like to respond to some comments made by your Employer regarding why you should not expect the same wage increases that were achieved at River Rock. Sorry Employer! You are wrong! Just because one casino is bigger and has a hotel, while the other does not, in no way justifies inferior wages for Hard Rock workers. Hard Rock Casino is a World Class Casino!
Bargaining is scheduled to resume on November 28th. Multiple dates have been scheduled, so here's hoping we can make some progress with your Employer.
