As you may know, Barney Usborne is taking a regular position in another BCGEU bargaining unit and has stepped aside from your bargaining committee. We thank Barney for his work to-date and wish him all the best!

We are pleased to welcome Debbie Buckles to your committee! Debbie had been elected as an alternate and will now sit as a regular committee member.

Request for Your Input!
Your bargaining committee is asking for your input as we prepare to negotiate renewal of the collective agreement with your employer. The bargaining questionnaire provides you the opportunity to identify any issues or concerns with, or desired improvements to, the Collective Agreement that you would like brought forward for consideration in negotiations. Your input will inform and assist your committee in setting bargaining priorities.

An earlier version of the questionnaire was distributed to most members at the worksite. The only differences between the two versions are formatting, and the inclusion of a submission deadline on this version. Either version of the questionnaire is acceptable. If you have already completed and submitted a bargaining questionnaire, no further action is required.
If you have not already received a bargaining questionnaire, you may click here for a PDF copy to print and complete by hand. Completed questionnaires may be returned by:

 

  • Handing to a member of your bargaining committee;
  • Fax, Attn. Ryan Stewart, to: 604-294-5092 or toll-free 1-800-946-0244;
  • Scanning and emailing to: [email protected]; or

Completed questionnaires must be received in the Negotiations Department by Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 5:00pm.


You are strongly encouraged to get involved in the negotiations process by providing input to your Bargaining Committee via the questionnaire.
