I am pleased to announce that Component 3 Vice-President Andrea Duncan has been appointed to the Provincial Child Care Council (PCCC) which will play a key role in supporting the Province's efforts to introduce universal child care in B.C.

For over two decades Andrea has been a tireless advocate for accessible, affordable child care in our province. Having worked extensively on this issue throughout her career and on behalf of our members, she will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the council as they work to implement an early care system in B.C.

I look forward to the council's work and hope you will join me in wishing Andrea all the best in her new role.
