On behalf of the Component 1 Executive and the more than 2,100 Correctional Officers and Sheriffs in British Columbia, I would like to welcome you to the 2009 World Police & Fire Games.

The B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union (BCGEU) advocates on their behalf. We have an active membership and likely share many of the same workplace issues with other games participants.

These games are our chance to show our athleticism and skill in the sports we enjoy. We hope that you can visit Vancouver and take in some of the many exciting and entertaining events being held across the Lower Mainland. Click here for more detailed event information.
