The CSSEIP assists workers who are ill or injured return to work. It is a mandatory program where employers refer regular employees who are ill or injured to a CSSEIP Service Provider, and the CSSEIP Service Provider works with employees to help them return to work.
The Community Social Services Bargaining Association (CSSBA) is working with the Community Social Services Employers Association (CSSEA) to update the policy and procedures manual for this program, as well as the information for brochures that the Benefit Service Providers give to employees.
The CSSBA is also working on providing members with online access to updated CSSEIP information, including information about the process, and who to contact if you have questions. The Association will notify members once the new microsite is available in the coming weeks.
