Nomination For Local 0311 Vacant Positions - NEW DATE - BCGEU

Nominations are now open for the following positions on the local executive:

  • Chair
  • 1st Vice Chair
  • 2nd Vice Chair
  • Treasurer
  • Recording Secretary
  • Member-At-Large (5 Positions)
  • Member-At-Large (Young Worker)
  • Member-At-Large (Equity)


The term is three years. Information on the responsibilities and activities of each office is available from your area office.

Due to unforeseen weather, the local meeting has been cancelled.

The deadline for nominations HAS BEEN EXTENDED!

The Deadline to submit nominations is: 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

If there is an election for a position, candidates may submit one page of information (8-1/2 x 11, black and white) for distribution to members with ballots. This must be received at the area office within one business day of the close of nominations.

Candidates should contact the area office for additional information on their rights and responsibilities.

Note:  Where no nominations are received for an office, nominations will be considered to remain open.
