We are deeply saddened by the loss of Karmjit Singh Khun Khun, a long-time BCGEU member who worked at Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre (KRCC).

Born and raised in Kamloops, Karmjit has served his community for 24 years working as a correctional officer at Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre. An avid member of the fitness community, Karmjit is survived by his wife and three daughters.

My heart and thoughts are with Karmjit's friends, family, and his colleagues at KRCC during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, his family has asked that people make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which was Karmjit's passion.
