Protrans BC Operations Ltd. - Call for Nominations for Bargaining Committee - BCGEU

Nominations are now open for bargaining committee representatives.

We require at least one nomination from each of the following department groups. Should there be only one nomination from a department group that person will be acclaimed to the bargaining committee. Should there be more than one person nominated in a department group an election will be held for the bargaining committee position , the person with the second highest number of votes in that department group will become the alternate. All BCGEU members at Protrans will be entitled to vote for their preferred candidate(s) in all department group positions.

Bargaining Committee Positions:

1 - field;

1 - engineering/building services;

1 - OMC/office staff/control room;

1 - from any department

Alternates:

1 - field;

1 - engineering/building services;

1 - OMC/office staff/control room;

1 - from any department

In order to be nominated, a member and nominator must complete the attached nomination form and that form must be received at the BCGEU by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 26th, 2019.

Each candidate who is nominated may provide with their nomination form, a campaign bulletin or biography of 250 words or less which the Union will distribute to the membership. Any other campaign material used by any candidate is their responsibility. Please note that the biography must accompany the nomination form and the nomination forms must be signed. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
