The Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with your Employer on October 6, 2017.

Your Bargaining Committee recommends voting yes to ratify the tentative agreement.

Ratification meetings will be held at the Tyee Room (4th floor) at the Anchor Inn - 261 Island Hwy on Tuesday, October 17 and Wednesday, October 18 as follows:

Tuesday, October 17 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm

• Detailed presentations at 12:30 pm, 3:15 pm and 5:30* pm.

*We anticipate a larger turnout for the 5:30pm presentation. Members are encouraged to attend this session if possible as additional time will be provided to answer questions.

Wednesday, October 18 7:00 am – 9:00 am

• Detailed presentation at 7:30 am

Voting by Mail:

All eligible members may vote at the ratification meeting or via mail in ballot and details will be mailed out to members in separate correspondence. Mail in ballots must be returned to BCGEU Headquarters with a postmarked date of no later than 5:00pm Wednesday October 25, 2017. 

Full details of the tentative agreement will be provided to members at the ratification meetings and via mail.
