We are pleased to advise you that your bargaining committee has reached a tentative agreement for a new collective agreement in your area. The new collective agreement, which is subject to ratification by the membership, is for the collective agreement that takes effect July 1, 2019.

We are required by the BC Government to ratify your collective agreement in order for successorship to be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

All the details of the new collective agreement will be fully explained at the ratification meetings. Your committee is committed to providing adequate time at all of the ratification meetings to explain the details and answer any questions any of the members may have. 

The ratification dates, times and locations are as noted below. Your employer has agreed to allow members to travel to and attend meetings during regular work hours without loss of pay. You are welcome to attend any meeting. 

Your committee will be recommending acceptance of the agreement and we will be counting the ballots at the end of the last meeting.
